Gwen Straley joined 3rd Creek Investments in 2013. She is Director of Impact Investing & Philanthropy. In her prior career, Gwen worked diverse organizations in complex global environments. Some highlights include managing a large-scale nutrition program in Somalia, developing an impact investing strategy for the Government of Liberia, and facilitating a successful, multi-stakeholder partnership in Palestine. She has also consulted for government, foundations, NGOs, and small businesses in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America. Gwen also serves as Executive Director of 3rd Creek Foundation, managing grant-making and impact investing in support of extreme poverty alleviation.

Gwen holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Arts from Hampshire College with a concentration in Sustainable Development.
